Hi and welcome to my lil' corner of the world wide web (i think i'm the only person that still uses that term). Anyhoo, I'm glad you're here. This is my "family blog" or should I say "momma blog" because let's be honest...it's a blog of my ramblings. It's a place where I post the adventures of my little family and my love for food and photography. This is where I will brag about my perfect kids and my perfect husband...how they never leave their wet towels on the floor, how they eat their vegetables, and how they never ever throw tantrums. Ha!!! not even close :P

We are a normal-average (ok maybe not so normal) family with two crazy wonderful lil' kids who are good most of the time sometimes. And same goes with my hubby. They all drive me crazy at times but I LOVE them to the moon and back.

Thanks again for stoppin' by!

VBS Day 1 - God's Word Is True !!

Every year we go to Houston for VBS. Main reason is because Houston Central SDA Church always has an awesome VBS, plus the kids and I really miss our church family. Oh and...grandma is the director so she'll get upset if we don't come. By the way, this year is her 7th year as director and will be her last VBS so we knew we had to be there.

This year's theme is High Seas Expedition. Its 5 days of learning about God's Word, having fun, and eating yummy snacks.

Bible Point: God's Word is true.

(Whenever the kids hear someone say the Bible point of the day...they shout out "Lets Go!")

Bible Story: God frees Peter from Prison (Acts 12: 1-19)

First, all the kids gather in the sanctuary for some praise time.

Next, they split-up into their groups. And each group go through different activity stations where they learn about the Bible story of the day and the Bible point of the day. Plus play fun games and snack time.

After snack time the kids return to the sanctuary for Chadder's Theater and end the night with more praise time.

Hannah tried to follow the hand motions for all the song as best she could...but most of the time she was just doing her own thing, dancing, and being silly.

Christopher was so into it. It was so cute !!
