Hi and welcome to my lil' corner of the world wide web (i think i'm the only person that still uses that term). Anyhoo, I'm glad you're here. This is my "family blog" or should I say "momma blog" because let's be honest...it's a blog of my ramblings. It's a place where I post the adventures of my little family and my love for food and photography. This is where I will brag about my perfect kids and my perfect husband...how they never leave their wet towels on the floor, how they eat their vegetables, and how they never ever throw tantrums. Ha!!! not even close :P

We are a normal-average (ok maybe not so normal) family with two crazy wonderful lil' kids who are good most of the time sometimes. And same goes with my hubby. They all drive me crazy at times but I LOVE them to the moon and back.

Thanks again for stoppin' by!

Happy 4th of July

This year we actually did something. In fact, we had a really busy-fun weekend.

On Sunday, the 4th, we started our day at Six Flags. Then we had a cook-out at our house with some of our friends. Hugo made his famous ribeye steaks. Nest, we watched fire works right outside our house. Grand Prairie does their fire works at Joe Pool Lake so we had a really good view of it. Finally, we went to some field in Mansfield to set-off some firecrackers and sparklers. We had so much of it that we were out there until 1 am. Christopher was all hands on and wasn't afraid at all. Hannah was a lil' timid but loved watching all the sparks and colors.

Look at the concentration on their faces...its not rocket science guys.

It looks like they're trying to construct a bomb or something.

Poor baby...I didn't realize we were squishing him
