His days pretty much has to stay on schedule or else it throws everything off. He has homework everyday during the week so after school its snack time and a short break before we have to get right on it. It really isn't the hardest thing (I can finish his hw in 5 minutes or less haha) but for a first grader boy who's tired and just wants to play it takes about 45 minutes :/ On Mondays and Fridays he has Tae-Kwondo at 6 so those days are even busier. Sometimes I feel like we're constantly on the rush...from homework, dinner, shower, and then do it again and again. The funny thing is, I kinda depend on that busy-ness to keep me going...is that bad?
One good thing that we have started doing... my friend Michelle and I have been taking turns picking up the kids after school. This is saving my sanity big time. School pick-up may sound like a piece a cake, after all what's so hard about picking up your kid from school right? Its the worst part of my day. Not because I'm not excited to see my kids but the pick up like is NO fun at all...especially when its over 100 degrees outside. The whole process can take almost an hour....i can go on and on and write a whole blog post on after school pick up...but I won't, lucky you :)
Here's some recent photos...sorry its phone pics.

Since he still complains about his lunch being so late (12:30) I have to make sure he has a good breakfast to keep him full until snack time.
Fridays are spelling test day and so far he's doing a great job :)
Christopher finished his house and shed before his Papa :P He built this all by himself, he must get it from his dad. Christopher has always been a huge fan of LEGO.
Movie matinee after school. Can you guess what the kids watched? The kids really enjoyed this event, props to the Thelma Jones PTA for setting this up. It was a huge success :)
To be continued...
