Catching up - Part 1

Update...update...read all about it..LOL, yes I'm a dork sometimes...most of the time.

Wow...so first let me say the reason why I've been slacking off on updating the family blog. When we went to the Children's Museum a couple of months ago...Hannah begged me to do hula-hoops. I thought I could do it while holding my camera...but I couldn't. In the process of showing my daughter how the hula-hoop is done, I dropped my camera and it died on the spot. Sad I know. But I think it was meant to be.

I've always loved photography...and really really loved custom family photos, but I never had the chance to do some for our family becaus

e I could never afford it. Well, since my camera broke I was in the market for a new one and realized that there were some DSLR cameras that were within our reach. So I pitched the idea to Hugo of investing in one. I told him I wanted to learn and hopefully someday be able to offer my photography services to other families. And he said "yes"

So, it has been almost 2 months now with my new camera and I am loving it !!! I started a blog for my photography and have been busy with that. Even if the business part of this does not work out for me...at least I'll have beautiful photos of family.

And that folks is the reason why the family blog has suffered. Any

way...not anymore....I hope. I plan on getting back into the family blogging. After all the main reason for this blog is so I can show this to the kids when they're all grown up :)

* We went to the Thelma Jone Elementary School Fair

* We had our first visit to the Fort Worth Stockyards

* Halloween weekend - we went to the church fair and trick-or-treating with friends

* Hannah turned 3 !!!

* Hannah is doing better being home alone. She's potty trained !!!

* Christopher is enjoying school and talks about his friends and teacher all the time

* Hugo cut his hands really really really bad
