Hi and welcome to my lil' corner of the world wide web (i think i'm the only person that still uses that term). Anyhoo, I'm glad you're here. This is my "family blog" or should I say "momma blog" because let's be honest...it's a blog of my ramblings. It's a place where I post the adventures of my little family and my love for food and photography. This is where I will brag about my perfect kids and my perfect husband...how they never leave their wet towels on the floor, how they eat their vegetables, and how they never ever throw tantrums. Ha!!! not even close :P

We are a normal-average (ok maybe not so normal) family with two crazy wonderful lil' kids who are good most of the time sometimes. And same goes with my hubby. They all drive me crazy at times but I LOVE them to the moon and back.

Thanks again for stoppin' by!

Fort Worth Children's Museum

Our first visit to the Children's Museum in Fort Worth, TX. We had a blast !!!
There was so much to see and do.

Dove Season

The first of many father-son hunting trip..i'm sure.

This weekend was the kick off for Dove Season. Both Christopher and Hugo had a great time. When they came home Christopher had so many stories to share with me and Hannah. He told me that he wants to go hunting every weekend. YIKES.

They spent the night at a friend's RV...and Christopher thought it was the coolest thing ever. When I asked him what his favorite part about the whole hunting weekend he said, "I liked sleeping in the box house, its so cool...I wanna move there!" The way he said it was so cute and funny...he really would switch houses in a heartbeat. Kids are so awesome that way huh...their innocence and just their ability to love and appreciate the small things in life.

He definitely is his father's son :P

Christopher's 1st Rifle

All I can say is... "Oh MY GOODNESS"

Hugo took Christopher to Academy Sports & Outdoors and came home with this. He was so excited to show me as soon as they got home...and all I could think of was, "oh my"

I wish you could've seen his face that night. He was sooooo happy.
Most parents are probably stunned that a lil' boy was given a rifle...but Hugo has convinced me that if you teach them about guns early on (properly of course), he will be less curious about guns and stuff growing up.

First Day of Kindergarten

This is it....my not so "lil" boy is starting school. This is a very exciting day **eeek**
The morning went pretty good, he didn't fuss so much about waking up early cause he's pretty excited too (i'm sure this will change by the 3rd day). It was such a nice morning that we decided to walk to school.

Overall this day was so much harder for me and Hannah than it was for Christopher.
Since grandma was still in town, I decided to visit him for lunch all by myself...yes i realize its only the first day and yes I realize that i'm having some attachment issues. But guess what, I was not the only parent there for lunch. There were 2 other moms and one kid even had the whole family there (mom, dad, grandma, and grandpa). So I didn't feel too bad anymore :)

Hannah was sad being home without her big brother. Seriously, she didn't know what to do with herself. Her day got better when I told her it was time to pick Christopher up from school.

Its too early...
cereal and fresh fruit smoothie for breakfast :)

I'm ready...let's go !!!

Lunch time.
We decided to let him eat at school when they're serving pizza and burgers :)

Time to pick up my brother

So happy to see each other !!!
