Hi and welcome to my lil' corner of the world wide web (i think i'm the only person that still uses that term). Anyhoo, I'm glad you're here. This is my "family blog" or should I say "momma blog" because let's be honest...it's a blog of my ramblings. It's a place where I post the adventures of my little family and my love for food and photography. This is where I will brag about my perfect kids and my perfect husband...how they never leave their wet towels on the floor, how they eat their vegetables, and how they never ever throw tantrums. Ha!!! not even close :P

We are a normal-average (ok maybe not so normal) family with two crazy wonderful lil' kids who are good most of the time sometimes. And same goes with my hubby. They all drive me crazy at times but I LOVE them to the moon and back.

Thanks again for stoppin' by!

Swim Lessons

Christopher is taking swimming lessons for the first time.  And I'm so glad he is enjoying it.  The course was for 2 weeks, 45 mins a day.  There was only 2 other kiddos is his class and his coach was just awesome.  They learned alot and had so much fun at the same time.  His coach's name was Mario.  Christopher though that was the coolest name ever and kept refering to Super Mario.

Christopher loved loved loved his coach Mario.  So much that he insisted on giving Mario a gift on the last day.  Christopher drew him a cute picture with a lil' note on the side and made me buy him a Chili's gift card :)

What a huge improvement.  Just last week he was afraid to get his face wet.

Hannah waiting patiently for her brother.  She did surprisingly well.  I was expecting her to jump in the water...thank goodnes she didn't.  Most of the time she was eating a snack or scribbling on her notebook.

Lake - Water Park - Six Flags

*Whew* just reading the title of this post is tiring  :)

I decided it would be a good idea to keep the kids busy all week so I wouldn't have to do much entertaining. So, Tuesday night we decided last minute that it would be fun to have dinner at the lake.  So we took our spagethi to Lynn Creek Park.

I bet only asian people bring noddles to the lake :P

We stayed until sunset

Wednesday was not a good day for the kids.  We took the kids to the skating rink but it was so so so packed with teenagers.  I told them we were not going to stay and offered to take them  to play somwhere else, and well...all hell broke loose and the kids were grumpy the whole night.

Thursday we went to Howard Moore Playpool.  Its a really cool place perfect for little ones.

Angela has this thing with throwing up the peace sign lately

Nicole looks like she's drowning back there

Friday we went to Six Flags.  It was Angela and Nicole's first time.
Just got off from the Tony Hawk ride

Mini Superman ride

Back At Home

Home Sweet Home.

We had a great time in Houston, but I'm glad to be back home.  We came back with 3 extra people. The plan was always to take Natasha and Angela with us (every summer) for a week (sometimes 2)  but this year we also have Nicole (my cousin's daughter) with us.

The drive back was def. not boring or quiet.  The girls sang most of the time to Disney songs.  We usually never stop to eat so we can get home fast, but this time there was no way we could have done the trip without a lunch stop.  So we had lunch at Pizza Hut.

Monday we stayed in and hung out at home, well the kids played and hungout...I cleaned.  I came home to a really really messy messy house, thanks to Hugo :(

Tuesday, we went Putt-Putt.  It was so hot outside but the kids had so much fun.  Afterwards, we went inside to cool down and played some video games. Each one of them are so silly and funny in their own way.  Their conversations with each other always cracks me up.
